[YEG REVIEW] PRIMAVERAL 2014 featuring Golde Clothing

A Night of art, fashion, music, dancing, drinking and all around adult fun!

First thing you noticed was the interesting and awesome art that was being made in-front of the guests' eyes.

Shout out to the River Cree staff and bar tenders for the excellent job serving all the amazing guests and participants Friday night. The music selection was really hot!

Thank you to the beautiful volunteer models showing of Golde's Clothing. They really heated up the night.

Great hip-pop hop performances by Relik and his crew. Check their website out here: http://www.thisisrellik.com

The closing performance was done by Emotion Beats including Kenadii G & Ras Tradition. Their performance had the most energy and noise that night with everyone on the dance floor. They had people on their feet shaking what their mamas' gave 'em. They really had that raw hip-hop talent that most mainstream rap artists don't have. Respect guys!

[YEG Review] Black Sabbath

One of the best Rock/Metal live concerts to happen in Edmonton in a long time!

Pictures taken by Jesse with his iPhone5 seated in the 100 area seats.

A enormous crowd of Sabbath fans lined up, or shall we say swarmed outside Rexall the day trying to get in the building as fast as possible. Unfortunately we were unable to experience the opening performance before the main event due to the large volume of bodies still entering the building. Thankfully we where smart enough to purchase tickets the first second they were released for sale thanks to 100.3 The Bear! You could smell the sweet smoke of Cannabis in the air in and out of the building.

We have to feel sorry for those in line for merchandise and food/beer for some missed a portion Sabbath`s opening song, the legendary War Pigs!

Many songs came after including Black Sabbath, Iron Man and their recent hit God is Dead? from their 19th album titled 13. It`s amazing how a man like Ozzy can sing! It`s nearly impossible to understand him when he talks normally haha. Scientists couldn`t even understand how he`s still alive considering the amount of drugs he has taken throughout his life. Maybe he really did sell his soul to the devil so that he could rock on?

Just before the end of their performance thousands of Metal-heads chanted "one more song" over and over until Ozzy came back to give the fans what they wanted. Their Last song was the fan favourite Paranoid which got everyone going crazy!

It is by far the Best Metal Concert we`ve seen so far and were glad to have experienced such an amazing performance and crowd of energetic fans. Everyone in the building including children (yes kids were present lol) where standing, banging their heads, holding lighters up, clapping and waving their hands at Ozzy`s command.

[YEG REVIEW] Kid's Help Phone 2014

Another amazing year for Kids Help Phone. Congratulations for all who participated!

Guests were entertained by a  large line of local artists, some from the previous year and some new. This year's line up was composed of young talents such as Convergence Dance CrewDanielle Ann YuKiran Grewal , Jennifer Yu, William Lau, Ashlee, Aaron Szeto and Carnival of Roses.

The 10 course meal served by Emperor's Palace was simply delicious! Guest were fed with more to spare. Every table was able to take a good remainder home that night.

It was nice to witness so many people taking part in the silent auction. We definitely made a big impact this year. We only wish we brought more cash with us.

Convergence Dance Crew Members Top Left to Bottom Right: Maria, Jessica, Jaime, Bengie, Dani

Video taken by dance crew member Jesse.

Our favourite part of the night was at the end when friends and strangers had a Karaoke moment singing songs including Backstreet Boys.

Until next year we hope to see you all there!
